Bourgeois, spacious, comfortable
This beautiful home is located in the middle of the very pretty town of Puy-l’Évêque, a dynamic village at the heart of the Lot valley vineyards, and adjoins a 13th-century tower overlooking the river. Come and stay in an authentic maison de maître that dates from the early 20th century and has kept its yesteryear charm while offering high-standard services.
Once you park your car in front of the house, there is no need to use it again. All commodities are within walking distance. The town of Cahors is located 30 km away (SNCF station, A20 motorway), Toulouse 160 km away and Sarlat 50 km away.
When you open the door, you will be dazzled by the vast living room and the light coming through the large windows. Look! The view over the old village rooftops is breathtaking.
A spacious fully equipped 35 m² kitchen enables food lovers to cook the local produce on a Lacanche stove.
This 260 m² property can accommodate 8 to 10 people comfortably. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom for privacy.
Have a swim in the 9 m x 8 m salt-treated, heated pool, secured by an electric roller cover, in the 500 m² garden. Rest in the shade of a hundred-year-old magnolia tree on comfortable garden furniture or deckchairs, listening to the cicadas. Have your meals in the garden on the large table and chairs.
For our guests’ comfort, we provide bed and bathroom linen for free, and the property is cleaned weekly.
Tout en étant au calme, vous restez connecté grâce au wifi gratuit.
On the ground floor, space and modernity welcome you
You enter the 70 m² living room. Here, the impression of space takes over thanks to the 3.50 m ceiling. The white-washed walls in pastel tones give a traditional atmosphere. This blend of the stone with the two leather sofas gives a harmonious style. If it is too warm outside, find cool air inside provided by the thick stone walls, and enjoy your favourite programme on a 63-inch screen or stay connected with the free WiFi. From here, you can directly access the garden through the bay window.
Among the tastefully chosen furniture, a large Welsh dresser takes pride of place in the dining room and the large table will bring you together for your meals indoors.
A large original wood staircase provides access to the first floor, and another leads to the garden level.
We chose to decorate this kitchen in quality materials, such as the whitewash on the walls and the granite work surfaces.
Its high-standard equipment is complete and modern.
